I created my own theme for this website. To generate this site I use hugo a static site generator. It works by taking building blocks like the navbar, footer, etc and adds them all into different html pages. This is very useful for things like pagination but it just makes the maintenance simpler. The css is a bit messy but I’m working on improving it. You can read more about it here.

Use of AI

This site does not use any AI in writing. I’m not an AI hater and do see it’s usefulness in places but writing personal articles is not one. The writing here is not of top quality but it is here to reflect my work and is here for me to improve my writing. AI removes the learning part, if it’s used to correct my texts.

In coding I do use AI from time to time but I am aware of the problems web-scrapers cause for open source projects so I keep it to a minimum.

Privacy

This is a static website, I don’t care about your data. I neither sell nor store your browsing data. I use GoatCounter for website analytics, it’s self hosted and GDPR compliant.

If you write a comment I must inform you that whatever information you input will be stored in a database on my server and will be shown to other users of the website in the form of the comment. You do not need to provide any of the informations that are marked as optional. If you did provide information such as your name and email and wish to delete those please contact me.
